Peril once again befalls the Forgotten Realms and the Sword Coast and unbeknownst to the denizens of the North, dark forces from across the Realms are rallying under the banner of a legendary evil. Unchallenged, all of the North is doomed to fall under its power. Even in this darkest hour, hope remains. A mysterious artifact is borne to Neverwinter so that its secrets might be unlocked. The fate of all the North lies in the hands of a lone hero tasked with bearing it to the city.
